As soon as your puppy is welcomed into this big world we are helping your puppy get used to their new world. At 2 weeks old puppies eyes and ears are opening and they are exploring their whelping box with toys, their littermates and mom. Weekly nail clipping is done to prevent pups from scratching mom and get them used to having their nails trimmed.

By 5 weeks of age we are starting outside potty training and by 6 weeks crate training has been introduced for overnight sleeping. This is just a snippet of some of what we do to get your puppy ready to join their new families and homes.

All of our puppies are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and sold on a non-breeding contract. It is illegal within Canada to advertise a dog as purebred without providing the appropriate registration. 

Registration is included in the purchase price and you will receive your papers within 6 months of bringing your new puppy home. Your puppy must be spayed or neutered by 2 years of age and never bred.  

 A vet certificate of spay/ neuter is to be sent within a timely manner of puppy turning 2 years old.

Our dogs receive preventative care such as flea/ tick treatments, deworming, annual vaccinations, annual eye examinations and annual reproductive veterinary care. 

Puppies are dewormed 3-4 times before they leave our home. They also receive their first set of core vaccinations at 8 weeks of age and their first flea/tick treatment at 9 weeks. 

They are microchipped at our vet and examined for their overall health. Puppies are sent home with health records and a one year health guarentee.

We use a combination of force free training methods to help desensitize your puppy to everyday sounds and common household items. Your puppy goes on 2-4 bigger outings once vaccinated such as visits to our local hospital seniors care centre and puppy pilates/ yoga. Puppies are also taken on care rides to prepare them for travel as needed.

Puppies are bathed weekly starting at 6 weeks of age and their nails are trimmed weekly. We use hypoallergenic products to bath puppies and keep their coats nice and silky. 

At 4-5 weeks of age puppies receive a sanitary trim and at 7-8 weeks they have their first hair cut in the comfort of our home.  

Puppies are $3,500 to approved homes within Canada. At this time we do not send our puppies outside of Canada or via Cargo. Puppy families must travel to meet us or allow us to travel to them with their new puppy.

Travel fees apply for those who would like their puppy flown or driven to them.
